Great zombie TV show. Much better than that cheap garbage "The Walking Dead". It's tense, doesn't have dumb emotional episodes like TWD, soundtracks are scary and zombies are more advanced than in TWD. They are fast and they turn much quicker. They remind us zombies from the movie "28 Weeks Later". Episodes are interesting. Characters are well developed. Acting is good and cinematography is good too. Personally, I think, this is best zombie TV show at this moment. If you're fan of soap operas like TWD, then I wouldn't recommend you this TV show.
Summary:
The zombie apocalypse is in full swing, leaving scattered groups of survivors fighting to survive. No characters are safe from turning as they are picked off one by one in the way to the supposedly safe stadium. The plot is separated into short chapters that are action packed. It also has the perfect amount of backstories for the characters including secrets that come to light. The characters form alliances that are tested as they fight to survive.
Personal Opinion:
While this show has the common zombie theme, it's all about the characters. Each one has unique experiences and reasons to survive and the actors did an amazing job bringing them to life. I really liked how they showed them broken into separate groups at first as they deal with troubles and loss before coming together. It was definitely a good way to build up to the groups coming together. I also really liked how they focused on showing other survivors being a major threat along with the zombies. Did I mention the zombies turn really fast and run in this series? There is even an up close and personal clip of a girl dying then changing right before the camera. Overall, this is one of my favorite zombie shows yet and I'm anxiously waiting a season 2!
